2. Service Description

SmartEditor provides cloud-based editing and content management solutions for various sectors including healthcare, education, legal, finance, and more. Our service includes document editing, collaboration tools, AI-powered features, and integrations with third-party applications.

3. User Accounts and Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service. 5. Subscription and Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SmartEditor and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create using our service.

7. Data Ownership and Usage Rights

You retain full ownership of all data and content you upload, create, or store using SmartEditor. We do not claim ownership of your content. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement and analytics purposes.

8. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. Support is provided according to your subscription plan level.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for conduct that violates these terms. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SmartEditor be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where SmartEditor is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
